Filling up the wheel-well
As far as I can tell, I have one redeeming quality. Yes, I am mostly useless with no
particular intrinsic value, and for the most part I would consider myself to be
just short of lunacy. However, there is one thing that keeps me from being a total washout.
I have this car. Her name is Isis, and she is beautiful.
The picture above should show you that clearly enough. That is Isis. She is beautiful.
"So what's with the name?", you might ask. For those of you that know Egyptian history, you
may recognize Isis as the goddess of the underworld, protector of the dead. She was the wife of
Osiris, and she had to save him from time to time from his evil brother. Anyway, Isis was
cool. So that's where the name came from.
Some people don't understand the naming of a car. "It's just a car" they say. All I can say to that
is that if you met Isis, you would understand why she has a name. She's a fiesty little
beast that would never pass for "just a car". Nope.
So how about the particulars? Well, I'm glad you asked. Here they are:

Plans
My ultimate goal is to put VW's 1.8T into her. I can't even imagine how amazing that will be. However,
until I can afford that ($6000 estimated price at Fast Enough Performance in Lexinton, KY), these are some
of the upcoming goodies.
- Custom-made supercharger kit available on VWVortex (saving my quarters like a mad dog!!)
- New Header
- Rear-wheel disc brake conversion.
So that's my car in a nutshell. If you don't really understand or care about all that, I can give
a quick translation. This car is quite fast, and it handles really, really well. It's not a "user-friendly"
car to drive, but it is SO MUCH FUN!! She really is amazing.
My friend Nd Carrick is pretty much solely responsible for me having this lovely lady that you see
in front of you. He got me into VW's. Many thanks to him. So now that you've heard a bit about Isis,
take a look...
